Marketing materials state the target audience is coed, 21-27 years old, beer and shot drinkers. However, the small colorful bottles of sweet liquid suggest appeal to a much younger crowd, especially girls. Though reportedly intended to be added to beer or other beverage – an apparent attempt to bring more women into the beer market - Spykes will likely have great appeal as shots for beginners.
